Modified on Mon, 18 Jun 2018 at 05:05 AM

Solution:

Night Audit/Day close is the process in POS Management System. During this process, we can do the day close to the system, it allows the user to change the working date. This process is important because it gives the user a clear status of all activities were performed during the day. To activate that process some steps need to perform on back-end So, first switch to back.

Step 1

Select Edit button from Master >> Outlet tab by selecting particular Outlet

Enable the option ‘Activate Day Close Process’ given in Day Close Setting section. Selecting this option will activate all day close related settings on selected Outlet .

Under Day Close Settings there are some other settings are linked with this process. As shown in the above image, the numbering represents elements and operations as follows:

#1: Activate Day Close Process: With active this option Enable Day close process.  If this option is not active then your hotel is running in continuous ordering mode.

#2: Notify for day close: Enable this option is notifying the user about Day close/Night Audit operation is not yet performed at the time of system login.

#3: Notify alert(n) hours:  This option is enabled once Notify for the day close is activated. This setting is for Notification time in no. of hours. Maximum you can set is 48 hours. If you have set 10 hours in this time, so when you log in to this outlet and your Running date and System date are not same, and the difference of date is more than 10 hours; then you’ll get a message like below, to take action for Day Close process.

#4 to 7 Send report on day close: After performing Day close process you can receive selected report once this option is enabled and reports are selected from the available list. To receive Day close report user need to add email id from which he wants to send this day close report and also need to add recipient email address.

#8 Consider working date as transaction date: This option gives you the flexibility to decide your operation date for the outlet. Let's consider you have enabled this option and your outlet’s working date is 1st Jan 2018 then all order and activity will be recorded under 1st Jan 2018 and with uncheck this option all performing operation will be recorded under system date.

With enabling this day close option you will get two more icons visible in eZee Optimus POS front to perform day close process. One is for Day close for current active Outlet and another for the day close multiple outlets.
